The cliff opened its door in February 2011 to offer a unique dining experience
and set a bench mark for Langkawi restaurants. After opening mind we have
continued to improve our quality and service to the highest level possible.

The Cliff experience is warm yet modern in presentation and wholesome in

flavour. Innovative dining experience with Mediterranean Authentic

Traditional Malay recipes and Western and Cuisine. Modern in its

surrounding with distinctive Tropical Island accents.

At The Cliff Restaurant, we are innovating ways of enjoying local and

continental cuisine, by introducing accompanying wines to enhance

flavours. Selected ways of preparing local delicacies with a fine balance

between Malay and nouvelle cuisine.

Chic & modern inspiring long bar that offers wide range of Premium drinks , exotic cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. The Cliff does serve wide range of wines. At the bar you can unwind and appreciate the majestic Mat Cincang mountain range or the Rebak and southern islands, or just sit back and watch the hustle and bustle of the busy and lively Cenang beach change at sunset.

Dine alfresco on our Waves Garden, The Coral Garden is beautifully landscaped and can easily accommodate 60 people. Fluttering orange flags gives off a sense of peace and tranquility. The superb setting will make any Private Functions such as Standing Cocktails, Wedding Ceremony or Receptions and Barbeques Memorable.

Chef Khairul has over 13 years of gastronomic experience specializing in Asian & Western Cuisine. An expert leaning on Authentic Malay Cuisine. He has served in many International Leading Hotels and resorts chain.
“Comparatively young by age, he has nevertheless won various medals in a national culinary competition, the Culinary Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in 2005 and 2009 and has also represented Malaysia in a food demonstration in Syria organised by the Malaysian Tourism Board”.

The Restaurant offers you a culinary journey, tempting and exciting your taste buds with the various prepared by our Chefs. It is The Cliff's desire to revive the taste and appreciation of authentic Malay recipes to traditional Continental cuisine. These innovative twists can be seen from the appetizers, soups and main dishes, in the presentations, sauces prepared and the chinaware selected. The dessert menu is a treasure trove where you just have to try every single creation. Young, energetic staff gives service a fresh look with their enthusiasm.

Have a thirst that need quenching? Head for The Bar. The elegant Bar whips out beers, straight drinks, international cocktails and concoctions created by our bartenders. Besides draugt beer,  foreign brands are also available such as Hoegarden, Heinekken and the ever famous stout, Guinness. More a coffee or tea person? try our brewed coffee made from freshly grounded coffee beans. Speaciality preparations such as cuppaccino and macchiato are also available. For the discerning tea drinker, a wide range of teas from different regions are offered.  Tea leaves are used, accentuating the taste of the tea.
